Before Trevor J. Saunders's death he had conceived the project of publishing a third edition of his bibliography on the Laws (first edition 1976; second edition 1979). At his death, he left behind him a considerable amount of material for this new edition. It is on the basis of this material that Luc Brisson prepared the present volume. In view of the current surge of interest in Plato's Laws, which will be the theme of the VI Symposium Platonicum, this updating of the Bibliography seems especially timely.
